Wedding Venues Richmond
Here’s a list of Fun Wedding Venues in Richmond
There are many places in Richmond, Virginia to host a wedding reception. But here are a few fun ballrooms that you can count on to wow your guests.
Boasting two, completely separate, waterside venues, the Boathouse at Rockett’s Landing and the Boathouse at Sunday Park are both great venues that have gorgeous outdoor space for your reception, they also have indoor space for up to 150 of your guests to get rowdy on the dance floor. Oh and they have in-house catering, which checks another thing off your wedding planning list. Ask for Bonnie!
If you’re looking for the iconic hotel ballroom wedding, look no further than the Jefferson Hotel. They have been a staple in the Richmond Weddings scene for over a century and there is a good reason for that. When you get in touch with Jimmy, he will take care of ALL of your wedding weekend needs, including a stay in the presidential suite, which takes luxury to a whole other level, and is in fact the place where Presidents and Celebrities stay when they visit Richmond. We recommend having your ceremony in the Empire Room, joining cocktail hour with an entrance down the grand staircase, and then sweating with your besties on the dance floor all night in the Grand Ballroom! Tell Jimmy we sent you!
Another historic and iconic building in Richmond is the Main Street Station. Built in 1901 and renovated in 2016, this venue has so much to offer. It can host a dance party for 300 in the Headhouse or a 2,000 person epic celebration in the Train Shed. There are so many ways you can divide each space on the second floor, but if in case you need some more spaces, the first floor has a gallery. Don’t forget about it’s proximity to the many restaurants and bars you can walk to with your crew, should you want an after party! Oh and we’re getting married here in July 2022. Let Crystal know we sent ya!
Once a hotel, the John Marshall is another fun venue to host your entire wedding day’s festivities. You can have your ceremony in the Marshall Ballroom, have your Cocktail Hour in the Lobby, and then your Reception in the Virginia Ballroom, complete with a hardwood dance floor, stage, overlooking balconies, and entry staircase. There is so much you can do with their spaces with lighting and decor, so let your imagination run free. This is another venue that includes catering and rentals, ask Maria about their options!
If you are ok traveling a little outside the city, look no further than this novel venue. This elegantly designed countryside estate is quite unique. It has gorgeous outdoor space, it has exquisite indoor space, and it has over the top ready rooms. This venue is in a league of it’s own and at least worth a visit for one of their dinner themed events. To schedule a tour, reach out to Rachel.
